Giving Directly to Boots on the Ground
One of the poorest and smallest countries in Europe, Moldova is the safest pass-through for Southern-Ukrainian refugees fleeing to Romania and Europe. FoM reports that as of late March, Moldovans have hosted nearly 400,000 refugees, with more than 100,000 staying in Moldova. I lived there for two years and can say that Moldovans are absolutely giving their hearts and homes to refugees, and they need help. Also, I can vouch for these two organizations, having had first-hand experience with them.
